How are two embryos alike? As we collect spatio-temporal microscopy data, we want to quantify variability in the timing of key developmental events. Alignment of multiple recordings is a core engineering challenge here and we suggest a solution; read about it: www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...
Leaving my office v happy this Friday. This thesis was hand delivered by the author (Mari) who visited our lab before there even was a proper lab. The visit led to nice science, recently published, and more importantly ongoing science and friendship 😊 thanks @kuba-sedzinski.bsky.social and team!
Excited to present our framework for interpretable disentanglement in multi condition data at ICML' 26 arxiv.org/abs/2506.17182 . While useful for different types of data, we think it's particularly useful if you have omics collected across distinct covariates like age or perturbations! Try it out!
First lab photo w special guest!
We're looking for two postdocs to join us! Topic 1: interpretable diffusion models for multi-scale morphology + genomics data! Topic 2: generation and control of biomaterials! If interested, send me CV + 3 recommendation letters over email!
Our fantastic postdoc Lambda talking about her adventure to find multi-scale signals in spatial transcriptomics at CSHL Single Cell Analysis. Preprint coming out soon! 😊 🚀 🚲
An exciting collaboration with a wonderful team! Check out Kuba's tutorial!
Latest from the lab: a review led by @jamesehammond.bsky.social on the evolvability of vertebral counts and the developmental processes that make it possible.
Thrilled to announce that I am looking for a Research Technician/Assistant to join my lab @imbavienna.bsky.social. Please consider applying if you’re enthusiastic about #devbio #stemcells #teamwork and excited to help shaping a new lab! Thankful for any retweet! 🫶 imba.onlyfy.jobs/job/l6u2m980
Congratulations Kristina and happy for those lucky to join your group!
