My mom grew up in Lahaina (yeah, the city on Maui that was completely destroyed by one of the worst modern wildfires ever) and I lived in Hawai'i as a teenager.
These are my only surviving photos from that time.
The Humpback Whale tail photo remains my only shot of a whale in the wild to date. ðŸ˜
