I’ll bet it wouldn’t be hard to plant a rumor that Vance is scheming with Musk and Thiel on the premise that he will be running in ‘28 as incumbent. I’m sure that wouldn’t bother Trump at all.
I just picture JD Vance saying “release everything” while measuring the Oval Office drapes.

And then, mysteriously, “No, they are not talking about the 25th amendment.”

I love reports questioning the credibility of Trump accusers as if they could possibly have less credibility than the accused.

This is the fundamental problem with 90% of Beltway reporting: it's all about tactics and who won the day. That what pols and their staffs do have profound effects on the lives of real people is generally ignored. In this case, the people hurt by Epstein never rate a moment of consideration.

What's fascinating to me about this is the tension between those who understand the obvious reason Trump wants to kill the Epstein files and those who are ignoring it, because they can't admit they support a man who seems to have such ugly secrets. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/10/m...

I’m sure JD Vance has nothing to worry about, it’s not like the VP has ever paid a higher price for his boss’s sex scandal than the man himself.
