I’ve got mixed feelings on ambiguous endings, especially if they’re balanced razor-thin between “everyone is fine” and “everyone is dead”. It can be a cheap way to make a work stick in peoples’ minds, if not done well.
(No I haven’t seen TADC finale, but what I’ve heard doesn’t sound promising…)
