A slight refinement I'd suggest, is intricacy without intention. When there us painstaking detail but that detail doesn't make any visual sense or add to the vibe/mood. that kind of detail would take a human artist a lot of time to implement so theyre not going to do it for no reason.

There one easy trick to know whether a work is AI and it’s that it makes you feel like you are losing your mind. It isn’t about details or gotchas, it’s that there’s no freaking intention anywhere to be found, you’re totally lost. And this v excellent portrait quite clearly is quite the opposite
