Gun control advocates, if they are going to be taken seriously right now need to reckon with the fact that violence is down nationwide (at historic levels) even as gun rights have expanded since Bruen. For most part, explanations are a grab bag of extremely limited claims (ex: less ghost guns etc.).
There is also the inconvenient truth that gun control is enforced by unaccountable, violent police and gun war tactics by local police (jump-outs) are reflected in ICE/DHS terror. Bruen has put everybody's assumptions on gun rights up against the wall. Me in 2019: www.nytimes.com/2019/05/14/o...
