This week’s #SewAndTell is projects made from scraps. I had a scrap-busting frenzy this past spring. Made swimsuits (posted earlier), #SimplicityPatterns 3634 tank tops, and zippered bags (ala craftsy's beginning serger class)

And....our final harvest. The new garden beds (with new soil) did NOT produce good-sized vegetables. We'll amend and try again next year.

One of the best things about being in an international server is that if I mention that I live in Bear Country (CO), the Australians all howl about how we need to shut up about Aussie wildlife, because THEIR large carnivores mostly stay in the water, NOT INVITE THEMSELVES INTO THE KITCHEN. (🧵1/?)
