David Shukman (former BBC now @granthamlse.bsky.social) does a great job in his new book (The Response @penguinrandomhouse.bsky.social) of both making you very alarmed about the future, but also somehow less helpless. Our latest #LSEFutureProof video with him explores the risks of urban flooding.
Access to sufficient nutritious food is already made harder by climate change, & will get worse in the future. Agrifood systems account for approx 1/3 GHG emissions, so we need a rapid transition to low carbon diets plus greater efforts to adapt & build resilience.
