I've not seen Gravity Falls, but it started a tradition called Summerween. In the film, residents of a fictional town love Halloween so much they celebrate in a similar way on June 22. Apparently, this has captured popular imagination. What do you think?

I've been shopping for crystal dowsing pendulums for people to use at the dowsing workshop I'm running at Greenoaks festival next weekend. They came with a velvet chart.

I'm off to the Greenoaks Gathering tomorrow. It's a lovely Pagan gathering in the Cambridgeshire Fens. I'll be running a dowsing workshop on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday afternoon I'll be giving a talk on poppets.
