Status update:
I'm still dealing with the aftermath and healing from this, and unable to work much at all.
What little energy I have is dedicated to healing, attending testing appointments, and running support for my partner while she works to support us.

I don't think The Backrooms would've been nearly as creepy to me if it hadn't been using my literal hometown as a backdrop.
Glad they took their establishing shots during the one month of the year the hills are green, and not during the rest of the year where it's basically a fkn desert.
