While the UCP is distracted by separatism, Alberta's NDP remain focused on you.
And we're just getting started. Read more about the Alberta Affordability Agenda:

It’s official: Amanda Chapman is nominated for Calgary-Beddington! Lifelong Huntington Hills resident, she’s now fighting against overcrowded, underfunded schools as Shadow Education Minister. She’s ready. Alberta's New Democrats are ready. Join us: albertandp.ca/amandachapman
We're going to help make buying your first home easier. Saving a down payment is the hardest part. We'll expand Calgary's successful attainable homes program province-wide — with down payments as low as $2,000 and below-market pricing. /7

Life just keeps getting more expensive. You deserve a government that wants to help. Today, we're launching the Alberta Affordability Agenda — our first set of commitments to help you keep more money in your pocket. ➡️ See the full plan: albertandp.ca/savemoney /1

Alberta has the lowest minimum wage in Canada. We'll raise it to $18/hour — gradually and predictably — then tie future increases to inflation. We'll also end the lower youth wage and protect workers' tips. /3
Whether it’s driving to work, swim practice, or a weekend trip to visit friends, when gas prices go up, it costs us that much more to get where we need to go. We'll fix the broken rules and remove the 13¢/litre provincial gas tax while prices stay high — saving many households up to $300 a year. /5
We shouldn’t have to navigate an endless maze of online forms to stop paying for something we no longer need. We'll require clear, upfront pricing, ban surprise add-on fees, and bring in one-click cancel rules so ending a subscription is as easy as signing up. /6
Smith has declared that the UCP stands on one side of the debate and referendum, but several of her party’s provincial board members sent a different message, joining thousands at a large separatist rally. Danielle Smith is a separatist Premier, and the UCP is a separatist party. Period.
We'll cut your electricity bill by 10%. Your power bill shouldn't be a guessing game. Alberta's NDP will lower household electricity costs — including transmission and distribution — and make monthly bills more stable and predictable. /2

You're paying more and getting less. It's time we elect a government ready to do something about that. Alberta's NDP will appoint an independent grocery watchdog, end the covenants big chains use to block competition, and require clear labels when products shrink but prices don't. /4
