Anyone able to identify this beetle? Found in Cairngorms, if that is of any help.
Mind slightly blown. Jonathan Glazer, the Oscar winning director of Zone of Interest, used to direct music videos & advert in the 90s. He did the Virtual Insanity one for Jamiroquai and a couple for Radiohead. He also did the famous Guinness surfers ad. Had no idea.

The name Emilio Gay sounds more like that of an Elizabethan courtier than a test match cricketer.
Shakespeare loved to write about the great kings - the Richards, the Henrys, the Kongs.
The book taught me a lot about violence and atrocity in early modernity. It incorpotates interdisciplinary insights with rigorous historical inquiry. It ranges widely & is not narrowly Anglophone in focus. Its readings of Marlowe, Shakespeare, Greene, Fletcher & others are consistently illuminating!
