What a great time to leave the US and join an awesome lab, led by someone who has taught me most of the techniques I’ve learned in my PhD. (Including babying me through multiple western blots…😂)
I did everything right I thought, and it feels like it’s all just erased. Very convenient to get this the day after this cycle closed too. #F31 #NIGMS #NIH

Received the most appalling message from NIH about my F99/K00 proposal, just....wow. Apparently including trainees from diverse backgrounds "does nothing to expand our knowledge of living systems". #NIH #HHS #StandUpForScience
