At last! A coherent plan for dealing with the perversity of fossil gas largely setting electricity prices, even though it supplies only 1/4 of our power.
Stepping into the market like this offends the government's deepest instincts. But it needs to happen.

“The city’s transition away from the car, tho fantastically chaotic, has become a global role model. Under mayor @annehidalgo.bsky.social, Paris was ‘the most influential city in the world’ says Canadian urbanist Brent Toderian. Hidalgo, stepping down after 12 yrs, exulted: ‘The bike beat the car.’”

I've said this before. Attacking civilian #water systems is a war crime under 1977 Geneva Convention Protocols & prohibited by the Berlin Rules & other international law.

@wclnews.bsky.social used this data to extrapolate the impact of the UK fleet on fish, birds + marine mammals.

Glad to see my keynote feature in the latest episode (Alastair was in the audience) - it comes up around the 17-min mark.
