I really hope this isn't the last we see of Destiny. It's unthinkable for a world crafted with this much love, for something this special, to go out like this despite how loyal and deeply invested Destiny players are, how willing we are to come back when called. It's so wrong.
It wasn't just the game. It was the comradery, the community, the wins, the losses, the secrets, the discoveries, the memes, the telesto bugs, the chases, the late nights, the "one more try."
Destiny was such a third space in my life I will never find elsewhere. It wasn't perfect but I loved it.
