Although I did not win per se, the real Pundemonium was the friends I made along the way.
I actually may have won the first round? My topic was Bread, for which I had many good puns, including naan-starter. I was weaker in round 2, Golf, and I struggled mightily in the tête-à-tête round, At the Hardware Store.

Sometimes you go to a protest and you wonder if it's doing any good. Showing up to a protest is good optics and it can be cathartic, but you don't know if it will make a material difference.
Today's protest, the indicted people could hear us from inside the courtroom. Our chanting gave them hope.
It can be so easy to fall into despair, The bad guys have so many resources, so much money, so much power.
But our small acts make a difference. We have power too.
