Bumping this thread about Moda Center stuff ahead of tomorrow's listening sessions. See you at Lents Park at 12:00 and Parklane Park at 3:00!
I agree. I'm so thankful to be working with Councilor Avalos representing East Portland. She's an incredible and tenacious fighter.
Yesterday, an ordinance to establish a Drivers' Resource Center for rideshare drivers passed unanimously out of the City Life Committee. (1/4)
This was a great event! Thanks to @councilordunphy.bsky.social for coming out and speaking about the importance of archaeology and this event being in East Portland. I got to speak with so many people and children that have never interacted with archaeology before.
A few highlights from today's hearing of the TSCC on Portland's budget. (All coming out of questions from Commissioner @ritamoore.bsky.social.)
In this first clip, @councilordunphy.bsky.social describes in perfect detail why state ethics rules on serial meetings are so utterly terrible. 🧵 1/

Council president @councilordunphy.bsky.social has classed the joint up.
