Fire crews in Franklin County removed a tree and power lines that fell across a road during a storm Thursday. Officials said the area sustained 20-30mph wind gusts in the midst of the storm, causing a series of calls related to downed trees and wires. The tree fell across Falling Spring Road, and reportedly caused traffic issues for several hours before firefighters could finish cutting it apart.

An awning collapsed and a building was damaged in York Township Thursday after a pickup truck hauling a trailer collided with the structure. Dispatch confirmed the crash happened around 6:20 p.m. in at the Temple Beth Israel in York Township. No injuries were reported in the crash. The awning collapsed on top of the pickup truck, and its brick foundation was dislodged.
