Local communities are starting to vote against data centers. The more they know, the less they support them. This is an issue that can motivate rural voters. They want to protect their land, electricity, and water.

Maybe now is a good time to discuss how MSG, monosodium glutamate, is actually partly responsible for the proliferation of the upscale taste we call "umami," and that anti-MSG pearl-clutching, none of whose health effects are borne out by scientific study, is really just weird anti-Asian sentiment.
