The desserts NEVER disappoint! We probably go there three or four times a year, and I don't think I've ever had a meal I didn't enjoy. I've definitely had FOMO 😂😂, but never been disappointed with what I've eaten!

Haha, yes, but how to explain it to a non-German? I can't eat it anyway, as I'm gluten intolerant, but that does mean I don't get to enjoy the delicious breads either! ðŸ˜
It was the perfect day out... we even had to chase the shade, lol. Love a relaxing Sunday with a fab meal, plenty of wine/beer, and lots of conversation!

Yeah, it's definitely not ideal! And this gluten intolerance only made itself known after I turned 50, which is a bummer. I have tried ignoring it, but I then pay for it, physically. So now Schär is my friend for bread and pasta, and my partner bakes g/f cakes for me when I need one for any reason.
