Just something I'm thinkin about as MS prepares for another annual bloodbath while simultaneously talking about making more of their "popular" games faster. I hate to say it, but More Elder Scrolls More Often is not going to end well for the Elder Scrolls fans.

Among my hot takes is that the idea of "canon" as "what Bethesda puts in the game" is a sacrifice of creativity and creators on the altar of capitalism. The Elder Scrolls as the Intellectual Property of Microsoft, as CONTENT, rather than as a universe shared between artists and fans.
Despite everything, I love making games don't regret choosing games as my career. That's why I want better for the creators and the games than the current state of things.
