i've done some more extensive work on IMGPLYR, including animated .gif support, transitions, image effects, are.na channel importing, overlayed image/logo, export/save custom settings, and other quality of life improvements, here's an example of how gif can look played live:
IMGPLYR lite
a lite web version of imgplyr that uses are.na channels to pull images into a randomized slideshow. not as fully featured as the full desktop app but is great for on the go slideshows. try out the lite version or download the full desktop version here: internet2.us/imgplyr
