A new study analysing data from our UK Blood Cancer Action Plan is the first of its kind to look at differences in survival from all types of blood cancer in all UK nations.
Across the UK people from the most deprived backgrounds have lower survival than those from the least deprived backgrounds.
Myeloma is one of the hardest blood cancers to treat. That's why Dr Nick Crump is working to change that.
Dr Crump's research is helping us better understand myeloma and could contribute to the development of more effective treatments in the future.
Very excited and grateful for the opportunity to be the Scotland Regional Representative for the next BSI member engagement forum.
Have gained so much from BSI and the Scottish immunology community over the years and so pleased for the chance to pay that forwards.
