Man City have agreed a £500,000 deal to sign Niamh Charles from Chelsea, according to multiple @sport.theguardian.com sources, with the move set to go through soon. Charles, who has one year left on her contract, helped Chelsea win five WSL titles, four FA Cups and three League Cups. #BarclaysWSL
NEW: A group of 52 #FAWNL clubs who oppose plans for WSL academy sides to be added to the third tier have today written to the FA, to call for a vote on the matter. The clubs (a more than 2/3rds majority of the 72 FAWNL clubs), want a Special General Meeting. More follows on @sport.theguardian.com
