Religion has zero place in healthcare. Religious organisations should not be able to object to abortion, transition, vaccination, or any other form of medicine they may choose to have an issue with tomorrow. Enough of this nonsense.
right. @juliaserano.bsky.social has a chapter in her book Sexed Up that describes kinks as either solitary or consensual, which rules out harmful sexual practices. this is a helpful distinction to apply to the expansion of "kink." bigotry is neither solitary nor consensual!

Even at the pundit level, if what you want is a party that hates trans people and women, that valorizes a kind of rural white masculinity, and that organizes around contempt for all things urban, educated, and liberal… well, they already have that, and maybe you should just be on the side you’re on.
