It was headline news for years. The whole world knows about the "troubles". Of course most people weren't involved -enough were to make visiting unattractive.
They weren't very wonderful during the "troubles" (dreadful euphemism)
I have never visited Northern Ireland. And I don't want ever to go. It's like a powder keg. Largely a result of violent feuds between different sects of the same religion. Crazy.
even the accent is horribly reminiscent of Ian Paisley ☹️

And the Conservative government's stooges, appointed to the BBC, gutted the Newsnight programme.
