A reminder to myself to stay the course, no matter what. People are giving up their dignity and integrity for way less.
Not lost on me that at a time where so many of my colleagues in interdisciplinary studies focused on race, gender, sexuality, and ethnicity are getting their departments and programs shut down, the guy mentioned in OP’s thread essentially says he feels useless as an intellectual without AI. Imagine!
As frustrating and often humbling writing feels (especially as a first-book author in progress), I will never feel so useless by anything (racism, misogynoir, w/e) that I would ever consider letting an AI write on my behalf. Never ever.
