Early on, I definitely was an underwriter. My first novel was relatively short (see graphic). I think I'm better now, but if anything, I still lean towards shorter, the exception being "Peter," but I wrote that as three novellas then put them under one cover.
I don't really have monsters, except the human kind. So they come in a spectrum of cute/attractive to not cute at all.

How would they do on a roadtrip? Probably about as well as they're doing on this walking trip. And two of them are on a bus right now (in my WIP), and it's... rocky.
I keep "cut" files for everything I write. I don't like to delete anything in case I find use for it later, either in that story or a different one. Things are most often cut because I choose to take the story in a different direction, but I believe nothing is ever really wasted.

AElit lacks progress in most areas, so the art styles are largely consistent over time. Similar to Ancient Greek in terms of statuary, frescoes, and architecture but more like Ancient Egypt when it comes to bas relief carvings.

It is illegal to attempt to depict the gods Tithendion or Durandios, the idea being that no one knows what they look like and AElitians do not want to offend them. Instead, symbols of life are often substituted as stand-ins for Durandios, as are hands for creator god Tithendion.
