I don’t know why after 28 years I haven’t realised that my stepgranda is a self-centred asshole, he took me and my sister to get some shopping and spent the whole time feeling sorry for himself because he had to drive us there- none of us can drive, my dad is currently recovering after being (1/?)

I forgot to post this the other day but I can’t get over Mario’s Cement Factory
In hospital. It’s 28 degrees outside and we have to get a full shop and my stepgranda goes on about how we’re lazy and don’t get enough exercise. We’ve been in and out of hospital for days worrying that my dad has had a stroke, we’re just trying our best to get through this (2/??)
He’s never asked once if my dad is okay, his supposed step-son, all he wanted to talk about was this new cookbook he’s got. PLUS he’s had a go about my weight since I was little, he’s got no idea what my life is like, he sees a very small fraction of it.
He’s home! It’s not a stroke thank fuck, he’s still unsteady on his feet but he’s okay! It’s inner ear issues and slight narrowing of a blood vessel in his brain but that’s normal for his age
I’m struggling so much, my dads been taken into hospital because he’s possibly had a stroke, he’s fine but I’m terrified he just gets worse through the night, I can’t lose him
