Backdrop: On 6/1 a 23-yo VZ-an construction worker & [asylum?] seeker Morales filed a habeas petition seeking release. He's been in Delaney Hall for more than 2 mos. He cites publicly reported harsh conditions at Delaney, but just seeks relief from “categorical detention” without bond.

Trump asks that his cert petition in E. Jean Carroll II ($5 M verdict for sex abuse & defamation) be heard together with cert petition in Carroll I ($83.3M for def), which will be filed soon. SCOTUS has "relisted" (put off) decision on Carroll II cert petition 13x—possibly for this reason.
As for Trump's "last-ditch" claim (filed 5/26) that removing his name from the Kennedy Center would render it "financially nonviable," Judge Cooper drop-kicked it in a footnote: untimely; "zero evidentiary value"; "unsupported opinion" & "contradicted by the record" & 60 yrs of history.
Judge Cooper has rendered mixed decision on Kennedy Center, which I'm still reading. But he finds RENAMING was ILLEGAL, and decision to close it down for 2 years was dereliction of common law duty of prudence.
