til of a whale graveyard?
Everything dies , but why go out of your way to die here, specifically?? This is so benignly weird that I want to slip it in as background colour next time it’s even vaguely applicable when I’m on set.
Geologically-speaking, it’s not exactly the safest stretch of road for a sign-hunting photo detour, but you won’t be sad about the scenery.

Only a few hours left a landslide/glacier postdoc-in-waiting to catch a lucky break.
Here’s hoping we can pull off some geohazards academic matchmaking so the funding doesn’t vanish in a puff of fairy dust.

Time-urgent bat signal going out for a postdoc-to-be who is ready to scramble an application.
This is a good team. The fieldwork is gorgeous. You’d get to be in Canada, which is pretty fun on the scale of potential global locations at the moment.
