"Night" uses a simple premise to extract a ton of satisfying character focused elements, both big and small. Most notable is Janeway's self-reflective and guilt ridden state of mind, which Kate Mulgrew plays perfectly. Stylish visuals and a killer score enhance it nicely.

"Afterimage" is another character-focused, extremely modest early seventh season production. Affecting performances from Nicole deBoar and Andrew Robinson make it extremely watchable and it's nicely done across the board, but it's not almost too simple to be distinctive.

"Drone" is a rousing success on the back of meaningful character insights for Seven and a terrific guest character, handled expertly by Jeri Ryan and J. Paul Boehmer. The episode completely sticks its landing with an emotional gut punch, making this a #Voyager classic.
