At this point I think I'm going to start going "off script" and start interspersing my own homebrew special missions instead of just following the campaign trajectory outlined by the publishers. Because I want to follow the Last Liners' story as it evolves, wherever that goes.

I really love the narrative that has grown already through this series of linked games; the personalities the Last Liners have developed, how they feel about their ongoing covert war against alien invaders, and how they behave on the battlefield - which is not always optimal or logical.

Cooled down enough to turn on the oven and make sheet pan fajita chicken and vegetables. One of our favorite and most-made recipes.

Just having civilian models on the table, even if they're not doing anything, made the table more alive and more interesting to look at while playing. Next game I'll add some house rules to Majestic 13 to have them wandering around.
