The remake of just one of the movies she starred in made over a billion dollars last year alone, and she still died in poverty from an extremely preventable infection.

Maybe it’s just not for me but I’m mildly annoyed that YouTube decides so often to serve me up cultural criticism (book reviews, movie reviews) which are just puddle-deep analysis and/or just awful takes dressed up in instantly dated one-liners
I think the "let people enjoy things" crowd exists because people (sometimes this even includes me) have unhealthy parasocial relationships to creators and their works. I didn't write *any* of the Star Wars movies. It is not a personal insult if someone criticizes them.
