👀 Weekly Sightings Update 🌊🧑🤝🧑This week our #MarineConservation volunteers carried out 30 #DolphinWatch surveys! 📝Lots of dolphins this week with a maximum of 15 spotted at once! 🐬Only 1 survey had no marine mammal sightings. Another highlight - approximately 25 gannets diving in the bay!

🧭 All compass jellyfish enter their adult stage as males!🪼As they grow larger, they develop female sex organs. 📏 Finally they become fully functional female jellyfish. 🤩

🧑🤝🧑This week our #MarineConservation volunteers carried out 33 #DolphinWatch surveys! 📝 Beautiful weather for our volunteers to enjoy along with dolphins. 🌞 😎 There were regular sightings of mother and calf pairs, including those pictured.🐬

👀 We spotted this great great northern diver on a boat survey at the end of May. 🦆 They are winter visitors to the UK but some stay into spring. 🌱 They breed in Greenland, Iceland and North America. 🐣

🧑🤝🧑This week our #MarineConservation volunteers carried out 35 #DolphinWatch surveys! 📝Dolphins were spotted daily. 🐬 Groups were observed foraging throughout the bay, often with gannets diving amongst the dolphins. 🦢 🐟
