the best business decision amazon has made in years is looking at these two shows about angry, "problematic" gays made by angry "problematic" gays and going: "we are going to make this the biggest thing in the world", and especially with helluva boss, and especially with keeping it on youtube.
there is nothing less corporate than two queer men fucking each other crazy style and THEN falling in love and THEN getting their yearning "you're about to die" song, my opinions of amazon notwithstanding.
when big corporations go "we don't know why people like this so much but we're just gonna give you the money to keep doing it without a single note or change" it is always for the best. it's a rare thing that used to happen a lot (see most cartoons in the 90s) and I'm glad it's happening here.
the hellaverse shows are popular now because of the fans, because of the slow building of a bigger and bigger fan base. antis straight up do not understand how animation works
