My earlier post got a bit of interest, didn't it? Feel the need to put my head back down now.
Before I do, I also find it laughable when Australian media talks about the rise of the nationalist right here as though it is isolated from the same currents around the world.
Opponent's submissions have made me grumpier than usual about tomorrow's hearing. There is making an argument, then there is looking callous. These submissions veer into the latter territory.
You would think that at least some of them would be interested in the way things seem to be following familiar patterns throughout a lot of the world.
I should say 'not all media'. There are some good ones working the disinformation beat. I am talking about the high-profile political journos though. The ones who can't seem to get past the superficial and the horse race
