This puts me in mind of Garry Kasparov’s Crowbar Gambit of 1989, when he jemmied open his local club’s storage cupboard, where they’d locked away all the pieces because they were sick of him winning so often. Inside he found a note, which read “Welcome to the No Garrys Club”.
