I'm not sure I would even *want* this to be a bestseller. I'm happy being beneath success. But I do want my books to have longevity, to stay in print & sell enough to keep me writing forever, and I strongly believe that comes from grass roots word of mouth & connection, not industry buzz or budget.

Really bowled over by how many people here have told me they've pre-ordered this today. Thank you. You need corporate weight and industry buzz behind you to get a book into shops in visible numbers. This has neither. But it does have readers who love it who are telling their pals about it...
