and maybe it's cope, but i am perfectly happy with scream being a simple metanarrative on the scary movie qua scary movies even if it's unconvincing at times
from the vagaries i've absorbed from this site it seems that scream 7 is not good but i wonder if that will be enough for me to not enjoy the franchise as a whole? i find that the series is ultimately very silly so idk if it matters if 7 sucks?
