I really don't understand J.League teams' obsession with Ranko Popovic. If you've seen him manage the half dozen or so teams over the past 15 years like I have, you'd be confused too.

Minor Japan sidebar: The new National Stadium's max capacity is a little short of 68k, probably less once camera positions and such are added, so if NYNJ, Doha (88,000) and Moscow (78,000) are the standards, the JFA is going to have to find at least 10-12k seats *somewhere* if they want 2046.

Got lost, ended up at the accreditation center next to Linc—(cough) Philadelphia Stadium, where I’ll be working for the World Cup host broadcaster (no, not Fox) as a content creator for the next month.
Won’t be able to post too much about my adventures but you might spot me at some point…
