Did u know? Damselflies are amongst the most colourful insects in our gardens, but when they first emerge, after developing as nymphs in water for a couple of years, their exoskeleton is really soft & along with that, their colour is very milky too. This stage is called "teneral". πŸŒΏπŸŒ±πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸŒ±πŸŒπŸͺ²
