Early voting in the Texas Primary Runoff has begun! Your vote in the runoff counts 27 x what it counts in the general election – so don't miss your chance to shape the future for all Texans. MayMatters.org crunched the numberss. Early voting is today through Friday, May 22. Election Day is May 26.
Mail-in voter? The deadline to apply for a Mail-in Ballot is this Friday, May 15 by 5 p.m.. The application must be received (not mailed) by the Hays County Elections Office by then.
Mail your application in TODAY. *Take your mail to your post office to be postmarked at the counter.
If you are seeking guardianship for someone, they cannot be automatically be stripped of their voting rights. We are proud of the work of the League of Women Voters of Virginia in assisting in the passage of this legislation.

The SAVE Act is unnecessary and undemocratic. Tell your representatives to vote NO on the SAVE Act.
Election officials would face criminal penalties under the SAVE Act, including imprisonment, for registering anyone without documents proving U.S. citizenship. Even if the person actual IS a US citizen. Any person or organization would also be able to sue them.
