Analog Game Studies was launched in 2014 by Aaron Trammell, Emma Leigh Waldron (both UC Irvine) and Evan Torner (U of Cincinnati). In 2017, Shelly Jones (SUNY Delhi) joined the staff, followed by Megan Condis (Texas Tech) and current EIC Edmond Y Chang (Ohio U) in 2021.
