This is barbaric and we can’t allow our Autistic & other disabled friends suffer this way
The FDA has missed a self-imposed deadline to ban the use of electrical shock devices in people with intellectual disabilities.
Oh! I found an update from Sam Farmer on his #StopTheShock advocacy
In Feb 2026 they designated H.245 as being subjected to a “study order” which is reportedly a common strategy to kill bills
They want to keep zapping autistic kids when misbehaving & don’t care about the trauma they are causing
A travesty of justice! Clearly, the powers that be don’t have their priorities straight.
