What's up BlueSky? I'm a grimdark author who writes fiction I want to read. I'm cool with readers having different beliefs and tastes, for me personally, I want to get back to the old school protagonists. I'm fine with some nuance, I just enjoy some classic storytelling.

I finally got this anthology, and this story is my top favorite! The whole book is great, but Reagan's story was by far the best!
Curious, what old school fantasy series do you enjoy most? What old school fantasy characters do you miss most? I'm working on a fantasy series, but I like to get a pulse on what readers like me enjoy.
Not every writer is for every reader, and that's okay. The whole point of a genre is to have options for readers who want something different. I want everyone to get what they want out of a genre. Bc I want to enjoy reading as well. There's plenty of room for all tastes.
If there's one thing I want from this site, it is for authors and readers who hang out in the writing community to get along. Remember, we're all different. We may not always agree, but let us be humans together. We need our tribe. The in-fighting always brings me down.
