👉 Here, Orbán earlier in March did something unprecedented: He stepped back from a promise he had made in December last year, namely, not to block the EU‘s support package for Ukraine, which would not cause financial liabilities for Hungary anyways

👉 Breaking a promise made earlier is not how an institution that relies so much on trust, informal norms and commitment can function. If the other national leaders let the Orbán tactics prevail, #EUCO might end up in paralysis - and with it EU policymaking more broadly
