4. Empathy arguments. Guthridge et al said:
"Behaviour change in men required an increase in empathy to achieve the aim of gender equality. [Researchers have] found that empathy was a viable alternative feminist strategy."
...
arguments fail when they come into conflict with those with a different standpoint, whether that standpoint is conscious and known or an unconscious bias. They also fail in the face of countervailing economic forces - DEI programs are the first to be cut when money is tight.
