Installing heat pumps at a dozen houses on a block costs less than doing so at a dozen houses all over town. Roll trucks to the block for a couple of days, bang out a bunch of installs, pass 10-20% savings on to the households. Also a good way to nudge neighbors off the electrification fence!

I believe Sex Matters are already using that exact logic to push further restrictions on our rights. Like saying that because trans people are inherently excluded from everywhere we shouldn't even be given pathways to transition because we transition into a state where we have less rights
