Due process is one of the most basic promises in the Constitution.
It protects us from arbitrary government power.
So when Trump’s DOJ asks the Supreme Court to let ICE detain lawful permanent residents indefinitely without bond hearings, they are not just attacking immigrants.
People have to remember the cold, disgusting fact:
The Democrats and the Republicans are the same monster. They say the same things, and enact the same horrific atrocities at home and abroad.
They just wear different masks.
You have no allies in Congress.
Only assault rifles pointed at all of us.

personally, what i always loved about bicycles was their vast array of non-standardized, non-adjustable parts that are unique to a model and manufacturer. when i buy a bicycle what i always look for first is the inability to repair it or even indeed to modify it to make it a better fit for my body.
